Thailand Privilege membership packages are open subject to package availability and screening. This is a paid long-stay membership/visa service, not residence by investment, permanent residence or citizenship.

Physical presence

No minimum stay is needed to keep the membership during its paid term, but Thai immigration reporting, address and entry/stay rules apply when in Thailand. Tax residence can arise from actual days.

Family inclusion

Eligibility and admissibility

Acceptance is subject to immigration and membership screening, including passport validity, overstay, criminal/security and prior visa issues. Package acceptance is discretionary; confirm current restrictions before payment.

Official timing indication

Package screening and visa issuance time varies by nationality, history and immigration checks.

Do not book irreversible travel until official acceptance and visa instructions are issued.

Investment, holding and exit risk

Holding requirement: There is no investment hold: the member pays a membership fee for a defined package term. Unused membership time/benefits have no investment redemption right unless the contract expressly provides one.

Refundability and exit: Membership fees are generally non-refundable after acceptance/payment under the program terms. The membership is a service, not an appreciating or capital-protected asset.

Long-term residence, citizenship and tax

Renewal or permanent residence: Membership/visa benefits end with the purchased term unless renewed or upgraded under then-current terms. It does not convert automatically to permanent residence.

Citizenship path: None. Membership time does not create a special naturalisation track; any future permanent residence or citizenship application must meet Thailand’s separate ordinary requirements.

Tax planning: Immigration status and tax residence are separate tests. Residence days, permanent-home, centre-of-interests, controlled-company, estate and source-income rules can create liabilities. Obtain cross-border tax advice before changing residence or investing.

No. It is a membership program with long-stay visa privileges. It does not itself grant permanent residence or citizenship.
Can I work with a Thailand Privilege visa?
The membership does not automatically grant work permission. Any employment or business activity must use the appropriate Thai authorisation.
